  Once again I skipped the sterile service, mediocre food and very slow service at the Cafe Central and chose the superior Cafe 10. This time I ate outside with a view on the slightly sloping cobblestone road.

  Cafe 10 in Tarifa is my new permanent replacement for the poorly run Cafe Central which after a whole year still does not have WiFi, and no one seems to care to fix it. The owner and manager should be ashamed for poor service, no WiFi and rude and careless staff.

  I met the Polish owner, a pleasant woman who told me that the cafe probably would be closed for a few months during the winter, however on my arrival on December 4th, 2017, the place was open and I had a delicious lunch with a huge soup-bowl sized coffee, and the friendly English-speaking waitress told me they decided to remain open all winter.

  The coffee is good, but as for the food..the ingredients are not fresh with not so well smell. I tried to communicate with the staff but the response is indifferent. A good restaurant or cafe should be more open minded to constructive comments. Because low quality ingredients may make people have some problems.

  I am very pleased that Cafe 10 has working WiFi, and it is a charming place that seems to be popular. There is seating inside, and outside there are a few tables in the sun.

  Try going to Cafe 10 in the morning for breakfast with orange juice, or in the late afternoon or early evening for a coffee, beer, glass of wine, fruit juice smoothie, with a slice of delicious cake or crepe.

  A charming, handsome young Italian waiter now living in Tarifa took my order for a hot sandwich of mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes and avocado and a cappuccino coffee. It was ready in less than 10 minutes, despite the crowd of people inside and outside. I will always return to Cafe 10, one of the best places in Tarifa.

  The Cafe 10 is just up the road and always has a good crowd of young people and tourists of all ages, who often bring their laptops and portable telephones to check emails and enjoy a crepe, a delicious sandwich on fresh bread, a fruit juice drink, a cafe, soda, bottled water, beer or a glass of wine. Cafe 10 has very tasty food and serves a delicious breakfast. I stopped here two times in one day, for a coffee and later a warm sandwich, which was substantial and reasonably priced.

  At Cafe 10, the service is always fast and the waiters are efficient and friendly. Cafe 10 also serves amazing cocktails and assorted beers.

  The "oldie" music from the late 60s and early 70s really brought back memories. I ordered a large cafe con leche and when it was brought to my table by the waitress I was astonished to discover that it was one of the largest cups of coffee I have ever had in my entire life.
